Abigail's passion for birthwork began in 2010, during the pregnancy of her oldest son. The education and support she received transformed the way she gave birth, the postpartum period, and how she nurtures her family. This experience led to Abigail's passion for supporting women and families, building community, and providing empowering childbirth education.When she isn't teaching a class or headed to a do an overnight postpartum visit, you can find Abigail homeschooling her brood of five (yes, she knows that's a lot!), leading in her local MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group, on a hike in the woods, or curled up in a coffee shop with a good book.

Jac Start
Birth Doula, Childbirth Coaching, Placenta Encapsulation Specialist
Jac grew up in a family of women, with a mother who worked in Labor and Delivery. With birth being a common dinner table discussion, her passion started at a young age. But it wasn’t until later in her adult life, inspired by the book "Birth Matters," that she began her journey to becoming a Doula. Jac feels driven to help spread knowledge and positive encouragement to women; uplifting them to reclaim their power throughout pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. If not submerged in birth one way or the other, Jac can be found trekking her way to a river or at home getting creative and making elaborate costumes, finding any excuse to dress up with her fiancé and slew of furry animals.
